The future of philanthropy is female, and as one of the largest women's organization in the world, its no wonder our motto is do good. Did you know that less than 2% of all philanthropic dollars raised in the US is directed to causes supporting women and girls? We have the power to change this statistic through the work of the Delta Gamma Foundation.
GivingTuesday is the perfect time to support a woman's cause you care deeply about. You can create opportunities for current and future DG members. Make a gift and join us in being an unstoppable force for good.
"This graduate fellowship will allow me to continue being engaged in the extracurricular activities and leadership roles I am a part of rather than having to spend my time to fund my education. I am an active leader in Women in STEM (wiSTEM) and Think Like a Scientist (TLaS) on my campus. These two outreach programs target young women and underrepresented minorities to encourage their pursuit, interest and development in STEM."
"This scholarship gives me more time to be involved in the community and focus on my education. Because I have been working several jobs, I’m so grateful this scholarship will help ease some of that time commitment and contribute to the cost of college. I am taking 5 classes this semester, so I appreciate that this scholarship will provide extra time for me to study! This scholarship has made my education much more manageable and has given me time to be part of activities I am passionate about.
“This experience has truly been life changing. I have learned so much about my own strengths and how I can use them as a leader in my chapter. At Lewis Institute, I have learned that change in my chapter can start with me, and I am excited to bring these ideas I have learned back to Theta Alpha. Thank you for making Lewis Institute possible and supporting the Delta Gamma Foundation.”
Mira Foundation USA used a 2024 Service for Sight grant to allow two children living with blindness to receive a Mira guide dog. With grant funding, Mira provided Shaelin (pictured) with her first guide dog, Guiro, ensuring she received the necessary training and resources to build a strong partnership. As a result, Shaelin has experienced significant improvements in her confidence and independence, especially as she navigates her daily life and school environment.
Retina Foundation of the Southwest is home to the Crystal Charity Ball Pediatric Vision Laboratory. The Lab aims to optimize visual outcomes for children with congenital and early-onset eye conditions. Amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (misaligned eyes) are the most common pediatric eye conditions affecting 4% of children. A 2024 Service for Sight grant supported a program providing low-cost vision screenings for 150 children under the age of five.
